TCDIP Board Co-Chair

What is your area of practice?
Civil Litigation – Defense

Why are you unique?
I am one of only two Sri Lankan attorneys in my firm, and the only Sri Lankan law firm partner I am aware of in the Twin Cities.

How did you do it?
As the Beatles sang, “…with a little help from my friends.” But seriously,  thank God for wonderful, unsuspecting mentors, sponsors, and guides on  this legal journey.

What do you do outside of the law?
I love singing in the Cathedral Choir of the Basilica of St. Mary, and playing and coaching tennis.

Who were the people critical to your success and who do you want to thank?
My family, in particular my sister, Roshini Rajkumar; as well as my mentors/sponsors/friends Paul Carver, David Lutz, John Sear and George Soule; and so many other great people, like my past assistant Marge Distad, and current assistant Diane Baxter.
